Cookies and local storage
Your browser preferences and optional analytics controls.
Site measurement
Under OUTNXT’s chosen configuration, Vercel Web Analytics measures public page usage before you make a choice and after either Allow or No thanks. The optional analytics setting below does not control it. Global Privacy Control still blocks Vercel measurement, and private/admin routes are excluded.
Optional analytics
OUTNXT ProductAnalytics records aggregate product and journey counts only after you choose Allow in the banner or enable it here. No thanks keeps ProductAnalytics off. Do Not Track does not hide the banner or make this choice for you; Global Privacy Control always keeps optional analytics off. You can withdraw here at any time.
Withdrawal stops further optional events and removes the local last-visit and journey values. Vercel site measurement continues unless Global Privacy Control blocks it. Withdrawal does not delete saved events or follows, or retrospectively remove existing aggregate statistics. Earlier analytics preferences are not treated as consent to journey measurement.
Storage used by OUTNXT
outnxt-admin-imports: necessary admin authentication cookie; HTTP-only, SameSite Strict, Secure in production; expires after eight hours or is removed on logout.outnxt-saved-eventsandoutnxt-followed-places: localStorage for saved events and follows you request. No automatic expiry; remove in Saved or browser settings.outnxt:recent-destinations:v1: localStorage remembering up to five destinations you choose. No automatic expiry; clear in browser settings.outnxt-optional-analytics-v3: localStorage remembering your new analytics choice until changed or cleared.outnxt-last-visit-day: localStorage used after opt-in to count returning visits; replaced on a later visit and removed when consent is withdrawn.outnxt-consented-journey-v1: sessionStorage holding only landing page family, discovery source and a destination slug for up to 30 minutes after opt-in; removed on withdrawal or when the browser session ends.
We remove obsolete analytics choices when optional analytics is off. Browser storage may be unavailable; the service does not replace it with fingerprinting.
Analytics and other requests
Vercel documents request-derived visitor differentiation rather than third-party cookies. Our audit observed its browser script reading the localStorage key __va_attribution when sending page statistics, including checking it when absent. If present, attribution or user information may be added to the request. OUTNXT does not manually create this value or enable Vercel identity, group or cookie features. See Privacy for the data involved. Vercel Speed Insights is not installed in the current application.
Ordinary hosting requests, direct image delivery and server-side referral click records are separate from these optional analytics controls. External booking providers apply their own storage/privacy arrangements when you visit them. No intentional advertising or remarketing pixels are used by OUTNXT.
